Due diligence has not been given to the many heroes, icons, and actors that shape the experience of Africans in the global diaspora. This monograph is a pocket guide of information and stories that tell the unknown, lost, and hidden stories of Black people not chosen to be explored in Western pedagogy. These are the stories that you weren't taught in school. The typical classroom does not have names, places, and activities. This guide is intended to expose the reader to new information, regardless of age and level of education. Each volume contains information about an event or person designed to introduce the reader to the actors, happenings, and period. The intent is that the reader absorbs the information and seeks further reading beyond this guide, thereby setting themselves on a path to more profound enlightenment.
